Bernard F. Pettingill, Jr., Ph.D
Founder & President

Bernard (Biff) Pettingill, former professor of economics at the Florida Institute of Technology and Palm Beach Atlantic University, has also taught for many years at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University Medical School, in New Orleans. Dr. Pettingill has been a forensic economist since 1985; he has testified by deposition or trial in over 1900 cases in 29 states plus the US Virgin Islands.

B. Josh Pettingill, MBA, MS, MSCC
Chief Settlement Officer

Josh Pettingill helps clients nationwide optimize recoveries in catastrophic injury cases. As a settlement consultant, he has placed over $1 billion in structured settlements to safeguard clients’ interests. He also frequently serves as an expert witness on case valuations and is the immediate past Chair of the Liability MSP Advisory Committee for the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network. Previously, Josh co-founded a national settlement planning firm and spent ten years as a Principal and an economic consultant at one of the largest plaintiff-based structured settlement companies. He is a sought-after speaker at national legal organizations, including the Academy of Economic and Financial Experts, Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice, and other leading industry associations.

Dr. Sanjiv Bhatia
Director of International Finance

As Head of Global Investment Strategy at Salomon Smith Barney, Dr Bhatia and his award-winning group of analysts were responsible for investment decisions on over $100 billion in client assets. His areas of expertise include capital markets, corporate valuation, venture capital and private equity valuation; financial analysis and modeling for internal decision making, mergers and acquisitions; investment Strategy, estate planning and wealth management for HNW individuals and Family Offices; Economic loss analysis and corporate fraud. He has a PhD in Finance & Econometrics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has taught at leading business schools around the world.

Sean P. Escoffery, CPA
Director of Forensic Accounting

Mr. Escoffery has over 10 years of experience in public accounting, audits, forensics, and business valuations. He’s worked on over 195 forensic cases, and has two graduate degrees, with his Master in Public Accounting (MPA) degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Arts (MA) in political science from The Ohio State University. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. 

Angela Stetzer
Director of Digital Analysis

Angela has over a decade of experience in financial services. Her expertise includes: Accounting, Data Analytics, Account Management, Information Technology and Client Solutions. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. 

Sterrett Barron
Asst. Director of Business System Development

Currently residing in Nashville, Sterrett is an experienced professional specializing in economics, structured settlements, and econometrics. He focuses on present value analysis of medical costs, loss of earning capacity, and loss of household services. Recently, he earned his MBA from Belmont University, complementing his undergraduate degree in business analytics from Loyola University New Orleans. Outside of assisting injury victims, Sterrett maintains an active lifestyle with regular workouts and enjoys exploring new destinations through travel.

Joshua Cossey
Strategic Analyst

Joshua is a graduate from Florida State Universiaty and received his Juris Doctor from University of Florida. He’s worked with private and publicly traded companies, developing business strategies, legal processes, and operations. He is also a member of the National Guard, (over 20 years of service) bringing together experience in the board room, court room room, and the war room. 

Dr. Les Bockow
Analyst

Dr. Les Bockow has worked and contributed to the health care industry for more than 25 years. He is the author of various hospital articles and technical publications in the health care field. Dr. Bockow received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University, his law degree from the University of South Carolina and a doctoral degree in hospital finance from Columbia University.

Matthew A. Luciano
MBA

Matthew Luciano graduated from The John Hopkins University and earned an MBA in finance from Fordham University.  He has previously held Finra Series 7, 24, 28, 63 and 66. He maintains his Insurance 2-14 for transacting life settlements.

Alfred S. Monus

Research Associate; Data Verification and Content

Al has been working with math for over 25 years.  He focuses on data verification, analytics-guided decision making, and math fluency within presentations and project proposals. 

For the last 25 years, Al has been teaching all levels of math as well as coaching football, basketball, and running a private math tutoring company.  His last 15 years have been heavily invested in raising standardized math scores with at-risk youth using data driven decision making to steer instruction at the classroom level and beyond.

Jeremy Hagler
Economist

Jeremy Hagler is an economist, data scientist, and AI expert with master’s degrees in Economics, Finance, and Political Science, plus completed CPA coursework.

Since 2014, he has specialized in forensic economics, data analysis, predictive modeling, and AI-driven chatbot development.

He is pursuing graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence, aiming for a doctorate, with published research in computer vision.

Gregory M. Jordan
Gregory M. Jordan
Consultant

Gregory Jordan brings over three decades of banking experience to our team. As Senior Vice President at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank from 1994 to 2023, he managed a $950 million business banking portfolio, leading a team of Relationship Managers. His tenure was marked by National Achiever and President’s Club honors. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President at Alerion Bank from 1990 to 1994, overseeing the largest commercial banking portfolio.​

Gregory earned a B.S. in Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he made the Dean’s List, received an athletic scholarship for Tulane’s Varsity Football Team, and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.​

His professional affiliations include serving as Chairman and Board Member of JEDCO, Board Member of the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce, Chairman and Board Member of Business Resource Capital, Board Member of Jefferson Dollars for Scholars, and Board Member of Jesuit High School Alumni. He is also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Krewe of Hermes.

Jay D. Lee

Jay D. Lee specializes in web development, graphic design, video production and editing, IT, and digital marketing. Born and raised in New York City, he studied Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and Boston University.

Focused on streamlining operations and maximizing efficiency, Jay brings a passion for cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions for high-end data analytics projects.
